“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10

This Spring, we find ourselves exactly there—the beginning.

Over the past few months, we’ve watched God stir something new in Battle Creek. From gathering 40+ neighbors to share vision and dreams, to prayerfully discerning the “heart burdens” God is raising up, to taking first steps in defining our Ethos—none of it looks large yet.

But it is real, and it is growing.

We are seeing ordinary people begin to step into their calling as local missionaries. Dreams are being named. Relationships are forming. A foundation is being laid.

And according to Zechariah 4:10, this is the very moment God rejoices in—not the finished product, but the faithful beginning. 

As we continue this work—connecting, equipping, and inspiring neighbors toward mission—we invite you to pray with us, and, if you feel led, to partner with us.
